Experiment:

*This used to be a secret post for people who had the PW to my Twitters.

If you have the PW, Yes it is still percolating and you can still play along until Monday! :)

Abstract: Get a group of people to tweet from and manage my twitter account for 1 week.

Expectations: Chaos will rule the day but by night I think we should play some games.

Participation: is as always voluntary.

I had a blast and will do a follow up post soon with some thoughts. I hope those that participated and observed the experiment will also contribute their thoughts on how it made them feel or what they thought.

Day 5

It’s okay. I give you permission. (After several mimosas at #smunch I got nothing.)

Ruh-Roh. “I’ve” unfollowed EVERYONE. :(

What I saw last night.

This isn’t fun, but I think with a little help from my friends this will work out fine.

#1 Follow yourself (because you’re obviously beautiful, funny and classy)

#2 Follow as many other cool, interesting or funny people as you can think of.

#3 Accept my undying gratitude.

Day 3

Yarn.

This is easy, collectively tell a story. This has definitely been done before. And as far as I’ve seen almost always fails, so we can only go up!

1. It will begin at noon today.

2. Every eighth story tweet will retweet a tweet on this list http://twitter.com/Favstar/top-50-funny (#yarn8, #yarn16, #yarn24… etc).

3. Hashtag #yarn1, #yarn2, #yarn3.. etc so we can keep track of the story. It will end at #yarn50.

Winner: The first person that successfully* tweets #yarn50 will win a t-shirt with their tweet on it. *I’m pretty sure you know what I mean by successfully but if you cheat we’ll just collectively beat you up.

Speaking of Tshirts, does anyone want to design a “the crosbie experiment” tshirt or should I do it? (mostly directed at Stephanie Horn who makes fun of my design skills) ;)

Day 2

Promote Good.

It’s time we gave “good” some press, right?

Use my voice to promote your heros, inspirations and yourself.

1. Use the hashtag: #promotegood

If you play this game try to post at least 3 good things today. We want it to be noisy and really show off the good in the world.

2. upload an image to the account at exactly 5pm. (Phoenix time)

I think it will be interesting to have one “person” in many locations at the same time. (Yay quantum physics!)

    Sorry I guess my game forced my “twitter values” on the group. Certainly not my intention.

    I really am proud of the people I've invited to the experiment. I would promote each of you and I try to do my best. This seemed like a good way to let you say the things I want to say, for me. ;)

    Lesson learned. Don't take shortcuts.

    Is it just me? Or are the directions for Day 3 really hard to understand? Or maybe the “story” just doesn't make enough sense for me…. :/

    I guess I made it too complicated.. Then again I added about 12 rules to my “yarn” already… I can't help it.

    Maybe everyone is taking it too seriously. *shrug*

      Well as soon as this post went public, my twitpic address was in this post. I think some spammer got a hold of it or some prankster. They started posting what looked like dating profile pictures in quick succession. 3 went up in about a minute. Luckily I was in my account at the time and changed the upload key before it escalated.
